At a time of uncertainty, with iconic dim sum parlors closing down due to the pandemic and the overabundance of anti-Asian hate crimes in the news. We wanted a way to celebrate Asian culture and raise spirits, what better way than through our food.

Our Dim Sum Series is the culmination of our passion for art, to celebrate our grandfather, who loved dim sum every weekend, and our mother, the cart lady that worked hard to provide for her children growing up.

Asian Joy Co is founded by me, Ray Lin, an artist and arts educator, whose professional work background is in film, television, broadway productions, and brand experiential installations. Traditionally trained as a sculptor and painter, during the covid lockdown, I took up digital sculpting and 3d printing to grow my craft. Along the way, I found out mechanical keyboards existed and the rest is history.

AJ Co is a culmination of those creative practices and as a company sets out to create premium goods that are inspired by Asian culture at the intersection of play and creativity. The link between play and creativity is well documented so If you’re someone that loves to fidget, I designed these with you in mind. I hope they can be a source of joy and creativity throughout your day.

Our premium artisan products are made in Brooklyn, New York with ethical labor practices, and source our materials through local businesses and US distributors whenever possible. Our goal is to create a great community experience, from your initial interest to when you receive our offering.
